Today Bold Rock released their newest line of products, Hard Seltzer! I was fortunate enough to be invited to this first tasting event. I love sparkling water and seltzers so for my favorite local brand to make their own, HARD too, I was pretty amped. So here’s how I feel about them.
1. Grapefruit
I am pretty picky about grapefruit flavors in drinks because of the acidity and bitterness BUT the flavor here is very subtle and easy to drink. We definitely liked it better once we squeezed a little grapefruit juice into it but overall I give it a 3.5/5.
2. Cucumber Melon
This. This hits. It was love at first sip. So refreshing and sweet but thankfully not as sweet as a normal hard cider. I can definitely see myself drinking this with any meal. But if I did I might accidentally end up tipsy because these seltzers are 4% alcohol haha. more of the cantaloupe flavor in the beginning but the after taste is like cucumber (Lowkey a bougie combination but I love it). 5/5 for us!
All in all, I’m very excited for these to be released this summer and hope new flavors come out too! We also couldn’t resist building our own six pack since we were at the cellar! Whenever it’s released GO TRY THEM!
